In 2010 I started using my Granny's recipe for BBQ sauce, every time I tried the sauce it turned out great. I continued to make the sauce every chance I got. In December 2011 we entered a chill cook off and had to come up with a name by the next morning, we didn't have any ideas! After a few  drinks and sleeping on it, we came up with a name that matched our lifestyle. 

We love to cook at our "Cookshed" that is attached to our barn, we are always wearing cowboy boots doing our daily dues from horseback riding  to chores around the barn and as you can imagine they get pretty dirty and dusty. So what better name than " Dusty Boot Cookshed". It was about this time that I started experimenting with the sauce, we liked the name so much that we took it to the next level and used it for our bbq sauce. After winning first place in a BBQ sauce competition we started selling to family and friends who had heard about the sauce by word of mouth. At this point, chasing the dream was becoming a reality and the process began to find a co packer for our product. We weren't having much luck until late December 2018 when I finally got a call from a co packer inviting us to meet with them and bring a sample of the sauce. After tasting the sauce, they decided to co pack our product!

With everything processed with FDA approval, labels were ready to print. WOW, over coming the challenges that came with it  a dream was coming true! Dusty Boot Cookshed bbq sauce hit the market in March 2019, And the sales are growing each day.
